Abstract

This article intends to start a reflection on some of the main problems of the contemporary Italian University starting from the historiographical analysis of the recent volume University under examination. It aims to investigate the state of health of the university institution, focusing on some key issues and some transformations that have affected the system in recent decades also considering the consequences on a cultural, social, economic and professional level.
