Abstract

This article retraces the twenty-year history of the Center for Documentation and Research on the History of School Institutions, School Books, and Children’s Literature (CeSIS) at the University of Molise, emphasizing its contribution to the renewal of historical-educational studies. By examining the Center’s core components – documentary heritage, collaborative networks, and scholarly output – a working model emerges in which heritage preservation, historiographical research, and international dialogue are closely intertwined.
