The Director
The Director guarantees the scientific quality of the contributions published in Picenum Seraphicum, oversees the application of rigorous ethical standards (see the journal's Ethical Code) and ensures independence in decision-making. He manages the editorial bodies, promoting gender equality and internationality, monitors the review of contributions and deals with any disputes transparently. He provides guidelines to authors and reviewers, preventing discrimination, conflicts of interest and plagiarism.
The Co-Director
The Co-Director shares with the Director the responsibility for supervising the editorial processes, from the submission of contributions to their publication. In addition, she acts as a mediator in communications between authors, reviewers and the Editorial Committee.
The Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief acts as the institutional and legal representative of the journal. He addresses disputes or ethical issues and promotes the integrity of the content. He also acts as the delegate of the Picena Province of the Friars Minor within the governing bodies of Picenum Seraphicum.
The Editorial Committee
The Editorial Committee is the body that defines the objectives and editorial guidelines of Picenum Seraphicum, with strategic planning of the activities carried out by the Editorial Board. It guarantees the quality and transparency of the workflow, formulating an initial assessment of the admissibility of contributions and updating the journal's code of ethics when appropriate. It is responsible for appointing the Scientific Committee and supervising the peer-review process. It also monitors compliance with academic standards and the regularity of publications, promoting the internationalisation and dissemination of high-value scientific contributions. Finally, it is responsible for reviewing the content of articles published in the Note and Schede sections.
The Editorial Board
The Editorial Baord is responsible for the day-to-day management of the editorial process. It is responsible for the adaptation and formal editing of content intended for publication and works with authors to ensure that articles meet quality standards and comply with the journal's editorial guidelines.
The Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee supports the Editorial Committee in defining the journal's guidelines, ensuring the correctness of its methodological approach and supporting its dissemination at national and international level; it is composed of renowned scholars.
