In the current globalized era, the emergence of new forms of national fanaticism, characterized by anti-globalization positions, through appeals to border protection and opposition to immigration, raises concerns about a possible return to old forms of tyranny. However, it should be noted that these new nationalisms maintain an ideological connection with traditional forms of the past, while integrating with the new neoliberal social and economic framework. For instance, the phenomenon of femonationalism, which refers to the ideological and policy convergence between nationalist, neoliberal organizations and certain feminists, aimed at maintaining the uncontested supremacy of the Western capitalist system through the instrumentalization of gender and sexuality. In this direction, the current contribution aims to trace the genealogy that has led to the formation of the present symbolic order of the nation through the convergence of the main axes of oppression, such as gender, sexuality, and race, in order to establish the capital accumulation system. Subsequently, the analysis will examine the continuity of such discursive narratives in the current order, showing how the past matrix of oppression has been able to reinvent itself to maintain unblemished Western dominance.
