Résumé

The article focuses on the social situation in Russia in the late XIX century. Attempts of Conservative industrialists and bureaucrats to impede labor reforms introduced by the Government, created the situation in which the most radical methods of Russian society’s transformation became more appealing than the method of reforms. Thus, the policy of Russian Conservative industrialists and bureaucrats resulted in the rise of Bolsheviks within the Russian Social Democratic movement. In fact, the Conservatives contributed greatly to the outbreak of the Revolution.
