Abstract

A.V. Dicey probabilmente amava pensare se stesso come un giurista del medio vittorianesimo, legato a una dogmatica costituzionale radicata nella tradizione, nonostante egli vivesse in un momento di profondo cambiamento costituzionale dell’ordina- mento britannico. Infatti, il periodo com- preso tra il 1867, anno del Representation of The People Act, e la crisi istituzionale, che sfocerà nel Parliament Act del 1911, rappresenta una fase di grande mutamento.
